The scene was Bankstown Sports Club at 7:00pm on Monday 2 September. The HRPS choir walked on to stage with 130 other students from schools around the area with nerves running through their bodies. But once the sang those nerves disappeared and a beautiful sound came out. Choir has learnt 11 songs this year including songs from The Greatest Showman, a Queen Medley and a traditional Maori song. It was a challenge but we did it!
Meanwhile, in the dressing room the dancers were very scared but excited. This year the Senior Dance group had two different items to perform - a jazz dance and a hip-hop dance. We had a lot of fun and even though we were nervous we loved the experience of performing in front of everyone.
Thank you to our teacher Ms Sundoor, Ms Buckley and Ms Mittiga who have helped us this year!
